Transparent Quoting for Commercial Gas Work

We have removed generic price tables from this page because commercial gas work depends on the actual site, appliances and compliance requirements. Tell us what you need and we will confirm the most suitable engineer visit, record type and scope before attendance.

What Affects Your Quote?

Number and type of commercial gas appliances on site

Whether the visit is servicing, installation, repair, commissioning or certification

Access arrangements, trading hours and any out-of-hours attendance needs

Pipework scope, LPG requirements, plant room layout and ventilation condition

Any remedial work needed before a compliant record can be issued

Single-site, multi-site or planned maintenance contract requirements

How to Get a Fast Quote

  1. 1. Share the site details: location, business type and access times.
  2. 2. List the appliances: boilers, water heaters, catering equipment, LPG systems or pipework.
  3. 3. Tell us the outcome needed: service, repair, installation, commissioning or compliance record.
  4. 4. Receive a clear response: we confirm availability, scope and the next step.

How Commercial Gas Pricing Works

Commercial gas work is priced on the scope of the site rather than a single flat rate. A small takeaway with one catering appliance is a very different visit to a plant room with cascade boilers, an LPG changeover system and a gas interlock panel. Our quotes set out exactly what is included so there are no surprises when the engineer arrives.

Every quote covers attendance by a Gas Safe registered engineer with the correct commercial categories, the inspection or work itself, and the issued record where a certificate applies. Where remedial work is identified, the engineer explains the findings, prices the repair separately and only proceeds once you approve it.

What Happens Step by Step

  1. Share your appliance list. Send appliance makes, models and quantities, or photos of the kitchen, plant room or meter.
  2. Receive a written quote. We confirm price, engineer category, expected duration and the certificate that will be issued.
  3. Book a convenient slot. Early morning, evening and weekend visits are available to avoid disruption to trading hours.
  4. Inspection and testing. The engineer carries out tightness testing, appliance checks, ventilation and flue assessment and safety device verification.
  5. Documentation issued. You receive the completed record, usually the same day, with any remedial recommendations clearly listed.

Documentation You Should Expect

Depending on the work, you should receive a commercial gas safety record (CP42 for catering, CP44 for landlord duties), a commissioning record (CP15), purge and test documentation (CP16), an isolation record (CP17) or an LPG leisure record (CP2). Keep these on file — insurers, environmental health officers and landlords routinely ask to see them.
